The person who has died
Living permanently means they had either their permanent or principle home in England and Wales at the date of death or they intended to return to England and Wales to live permanently.
A civil partnership is a same sex relationship that has been registered in accordance with the Civil Partnership Act 2004. A marriage is a legal ceremony conducted in the UK under the Marriage Acts 1949, 1994 and the Marriage (Same Sex Marriage) Act 2013 or under legislation in any other country by the law applicable there. Date of divorce – this date is on their Decree Absolute, Decree of Dissolution of Partnership or Decree of Judicial Separation.
